  3. is a small application program which:
  4. - shuts down the local mac by timeout  (no activity)
  5. - shuts down a local or remote mac by user's command
  6. - supports remote power on of a mac
  7. - enables quitting any (local and remote high level event aware) application on other macs
  8. - gets information (about the remaining time until shutdown) of any mac with AutoShutD running 
  9. Unsaved work will be saved before shutdown occures.
  10. AutoShutD is not a Init: It can be started at any time.
  11. AutoShutD can run in background and consumes hardly any processing time
